COVID 19 Update
Appointments will have to follow strict Covid 19 policies and procedures to maintain the health and safety of both myself and you as a patient.
All patients will be pre-screened on the day of their appointment for Covid 19 symptoms and case histories will be completed over the phone.
Patients will be informed of the risk of face to face appointments and consent will be obtained and recorded for each appointment and will include but not limited to:
The close patient contact required for osteopathic manual treatment and the risks of transmission and exposure of Covid 19
The level of PPE osteopath will be wearing during the appointment to mitigate the risk of transmission
Infection prevention and control measures that will be taken
During appointments I will be adhering to NHS and Public Health England (PHE) guidance on infection control procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
I will be wearing an apron, shoe coverings, gloves, goggles and a mask during each appointment and patients will also be required to wash/sanitise their hands and wear a face covering. You may wear a face covering of your choice or I can provide a mask for you to wear.
During home visits your temperature will be taken upon arrival and I request that windows are open during the appointment to allow adequate aeration. Other members of your household will not be permitted into the room chosen to treat in unless you require a chaperone and they have completed the pre screening questionnaire with me. If a chaperone is required they will be asked to wear a face covering and sit at least 2 meters away from me at all times.
Home visits will be £50 (30 - 45 mins*) for existing patients and £60 (60 - 75 mins*) for new patients. *Appointment times include time for pre screening and creating / updating case histories over the phone, examination, treatment and after care advice and guidance)
Once I return to the YMCA, there will be a price increase of £5 for all appointments to cover the cost of personal protective equipment, medical grade cleaning materials and additional time required between patients (20mins) to allow for deep cleaning and aeration of the room, for your safety during this unprecedented time.
I really hope you understand the reasons for the (hopefully) temporary price increase.
All payments must be made by debit/credit card. An additional £1 will be charged for patients/chaperones requiring a mask.
